Eliot Stein

Eliot Stein: Author Talk

Friday, October 2

7:00 p.m. | Church

Rescheduled from January: Join us for an author talk with BBC senior journalist, Eliot Stein, who will be discussing his latest book, Custodians of Wonder: Ancient Customs, Profound Traditions, and the Last People Keeping Them Alive. Stein believes in the power of curiosity, and that led him to chronicle the stories of people across the globe who are preserving remarkable cultural practices. He'll be sharing some of those stories, complete with pictures and a time for Q&A. A book signing and light reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Our hope is that you'll walk away with a better understanding of the beauty and wisdom of preserving wonder in our world.
